Duran Hamer

Duran is a co-founder of Aperture Growth and is responsible for all financial and investor related activities. He is an experienced entrepreneur having co-founded 3 financial services based businesses for which he has successfully raised various rounds of funding. Given his extensive experience in establishing new ventures, he is also intimately involved in defining the overall strategy, go-to-market plan and fund raising initiatives.

  

Duran has over 11 years’ experience (primarily in the finance services sector) in roles that have required an appreciation of complex operating models. His experience as a freelance management consultant has given him exposure to a vast array of businesses across Africa, the Middle East and Europe. Over the past 5 years his focus has shifted to more entrepreneurial ventures having started businesses in insurance, banking and data-analytics.
